I am thinking about buying a DS650 whenever the 2004 model arrives at the dealers. When do you think that'll be?

I have dropped "thebom" (pun) on the wife and told her that I want to build a new Banshee and get a Bom to ride. I don't think she was real impressed with those ideas. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] One way or the other, I'm planning on getting a faster Yamaha. Someone is going to have to give you some competition.

I beleive they start shipping them to "preferred" dealers in june. Others will probably get them around july-august.

 

I hear you Daren on the DS. I'm pretty sure I have the Pol sold. I'm looking to buy a DS soon. I don't know if I can wait till June or July and for sure not Aug. Why did Bom quit making the yellow's? From my experience yellow shows wear the least and in my oppinion looks the best. Look what you started Jeff. Hehe.

You can buy the Yellow plastic from the dealer still, and you could also sell the black or whatever color it comes with plastic for a good price on eBay or here in the classifieds. There are pleanty of people who need plastic.

 

Its hard to hide something that works. When you can take a school bus and out run 97% of the bikes around ,it gets peoples attention. I'm not sure I need the competition, but I guess the more the merrier. I guess I can help tune you guys before we race each other. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] LOL

 

You may be able to get an '04 as soon as May. Check out the "X package" on the Baja page on the Bomb website, lots of goodies,,,,,and it's yellow!

 

I'm not sure if I want the smaller 04'. The size is what I like the most about a DS. It shouldn't take long to shed 20 lbs. off a 03'. The "X" has to much stuff on it to my liking, but never the less, still a nice quad.

my dealer said they might have one this month, and the 04's are only half in shorter in size, handling shouldn't be much different
