Default coolant tank overflow

any body else with big power ds's i have a question. my 760 likes to slowly fill up the overflow tank as i ride, and when i really run it hard it will overflow and spit coolant out (not spray coolant like when my headgasket went) yesterday after it spit out coolant i opened the radiator and it was down about half way? if i emty the the overflow tank it will be ok for a few rides until really lean on it for 5min or so? i do have shrouds and a heat sink along with water wetter, do i have a slight leak again in the head gasket? the hot light never comes on like when the head gasket went.

The only way to build up pressure is the radiator is two ways.
1. a head gasket could be failing on you putting compression in the cooling system. A quick fix is to take some bars stopleak in powderform and put a 1/4 of a tablet in the system. if you have a slight leak in the headgasket this will fix it.
2. water boils at 212 degrees if its has the extra air to expand the pressure. Compressed and seal containers boil at 255 to 265 degress. So if you have a coolant leak or a connection slightly lose this will allow the coolant to boil more quickly because the system is not sealing. Check the cap also. In the event the bars will probably fix your problem. use some 40 below or water wetter in the system also. hope this helps
