Default missing problem

I have a 2001 ds. Lately it has started to miss and start cutting out around 3600-4000 rpm. If I turn my headlights on high it stops. I have changed the battery, checked and cleaned the carb., and made shure that the battery is charging. I dont know what else to do. I asked the dealer and he doesn't have a clue either. Can anyone help??

what you're discribing sounds like electrical of some sort- like in the ignition somewhere, it might be just a loose connection, check those i guess, hey u mentioned that it stops? the motor stops? or the missing stops? but it still sounds like ignition somewhere, so i'd start with electrical first.. lates josh...

Default missing problem

I had the exact same problem a couple years ago. Turn on the lights always fixed it...
It turned out the problem was a bad ground. Check the ground connections. Clean and scuff it with something like a wire brush..
