Random stalling...sup with that??

check your head pipe nuts to make sure they're tight. When mine come loose it coughs, sputters and dies and I know it,s time to retighten. Someday I will get smart and buy some loctite and get rid of that damn recurring headache!!

i think it is now ds.net now and buttfungus has a chart with where everyone has there machines jetted. i run a 170 in the stock one with a woods pipe, it might take a 180 ok but it seems to work fine.

Okay, i'll check out the plugs when I get the chance, and if the problem persists, I'll have someone check it or i'll try to fix it myself.
Also, i forgot to mention, sometimes, while riding on lower gears or in neutral...at less than 1/4 throttle, I pin the throttle WOT, and sometimes, instead of screaming, the engine just like skips a beat (oddly as it sounds), the engine doesn't stall or anything, it just like, skips a beat...Only way I can explain that...It does not do that every time. Happened twice...could this also be due to generous jetting??
Thanks

Alright, I'll try taking it off...
I guess with the lid off, mud and water will get in there like a fly on a decaying corpse right?
I'm running a K&N filter in the stock airbox without an outerwear.
Has anybody had problems with water getting in there with the lid off?? Thanks.

Just a suggestion before you go changing jets etc. Drain the float bowl first. It might be something as simple as a tank of bad gas with water sitting in the bottom of the float bowl.
