BSR 42mm Carb
#1
I've been told that the DS650 and the Predator both use the same carb...Mikuni BSR 42mm Carb. IS this whats on the DS? Does it have a plastic slide in it that the jet needle goes into? If it is, can you tell me any dealers with online parts microphish? Mine broke and I was told by my Polaris dealer today it was on back order so I'm try'n to find one ASAP.

The DS does use the Mikuni BSR42, and yes it is a plastic slide. I didn't know the polaris used ti too though.
Sorry, I've never had to order parts for the carb, so I've never looked for any dealers to pass on to you. You could call the closest Bomb dealer to you though.

If I was a betting man I would bet that he needs a slide.
RuckusRacing, Did you break your slide while changing your needle clip? If its like the Z400 (also a BSR) I can understand, that retainer set-up is a joke. I broke the one in my wifes KFX400 cost me 50 bones for a new one.
