Just want to say to all of you that have posted here that I appreciate your support--both public and private. I will get my bike dialed in to my liking eventually. Had a nice chat with Bob this afternoon (MBRP)....that guy is on my (and your) side!!! I ain't trying to get anything from anyone for free...I just have really, really high expectations from the stuff I buy seeing as how I bust my *** to earn my money as do many of us!

This forum is the light that many a moths are drawn to...I am not satisfied with a mediocre running machine! Stock DS's rock! But race a couple that have some good work done and you'll drop your gaurd and your jorney will begin! It's a rocky journey but nonetheless an interisting and thrilling one! Just so you know...

What are you saying was wrong with your bike at 4sw? Big Doug says you were beat by rider skill. Does rider skill mean jumping the start? Because that guy jumped it every time. I think your bike ran fine at 4sw, he admitted that the one thing that got him the win was he picked a smoother line through the whoops. At least you got a trophy, I got robbed when a raptor challenged us at the last minute.
I guess I must be one of your heros since I have left my bike stock. Good luck on your bike.

Yeah, this thread is starting to wear thin and it's trying to take a turn for the worst. I will admit that I've got a lot to learn when it comes to dialing it all in.

I bought a TM45 carburator from DSMike at FSWII and I guess it seems I've been trying to publicly cheap shot the guy because I can't get it dialed it...hmmm....I challenge any respectable tuner in here to give it there best shot! I will gladly pay a reasonable fee for that persons time and reimburse costs to get it operating like it should--like a new carb seeing as how I paid $300 bones for the carb (the filter that was well worn...the intake that was perfectly ported is mated to my headwork so I'll be keeping it--I bought the $30 rebuild kit, tore it down and meticulously put it back together, jetted it the same as another that was running strong with no better luck). Anyone successful to the challenge and I will publicly appologize to Mike and Steve for even hinting that they sold me a bunk carburator! I'm not trying to generate forum drama here and I have no personal reason to make an enemy out of either one of them.

As far as my second place trophy from FSW...I'm still pretty stoked about that. I was just saying that by the final run I knew something wasn't right and I found shortly after that my MBRP had cavitated--Bob will vouch that this is the only case with that slip-on. BTW, most draggers I know jump start whether they need to or not...maybe I'm just slow at GO!
