Default Rear shock?? please help.....

For those of you that are adjusting the preload on your stock rear shocks, there is an easy way and a few hard ways. Since it was mentioned in this thread and most people already know it, I'll skip the hard way. The easy way, once the jam nut has been loostened is to simply turn the spring. If you grab the spring with both hands and turn it in the direction of the desired adjustment, the nut will turn with it. No special spanners, no hammering on a screw driver (woops said i wouldn't mention the hard way )
Its that easy.

Default Rear shock?? please help.....

Has anyone found an 'easy' way to loosen the bottom of the two nuts? I tried but had zero success so I just left it along. I'm speculating about removing the shock itself so that I can loosen the nut for the first time. Anyone have any better ideas?

I would say to use 2 wrenches I think the size is 17mm. I took mine down to TCS when the chain cut the line to the rezzie. For 160 bucks they did the whole shabang including revalving it and all. The also put on a stainless stell braided line. For that price im more than happy. Anyways TCS is like 5 min from my house and they did all the work in less than 5 days.
