Another DAMN Tornado :(

BiggerisBetter, I thought this thread was very thoughtful and kind of you to create this and let us express our feelings towards the nasty weather situation. I dont know anyone who lives in the areas of the tornados but i sure as hell know that if one of my family or friends got killed i would be heartbroken. Its something that i dont even wanna think about because I would truely be saddened by it. Im sure many ppl that visit these forums live in these areas and/or have family/friends that do. So i see nothing wrong with creating one simple thread that lets these ppl in these areas know are hearts are with them. So what im trying to say is this is just one tiny, simple thread that takes up the most little space. Lets just keep the ignorance out of this thread plz. And if moving out of these areas of the tornados was as simple as saying it or writing it down im sure they would do it, but yah its not. Thats just my 4.5 cents. --Steve

RoughRider1,
Thank you for your words, I know Alaska, and Punisher are good guys, but its obvious that they feel that this was not appropriate for a ATV forum, and perhaps its not. Personally I like to see the other side of ATVers, cause we all have families, and we all have lost things in the past. It cant be "I can beat you","my biulder is better than yours" all the time, Can it??
anyways I have no problem with Punisher,or Alaska, But what bothers me the most is that this thread turned into something negative and that to me is way wrong, and since it was my thread I feel and accept total responsibilty for its failure. I will now notify the Mods to lock this thread, before it turns into something even worse.
Thanks,
Biggerisbetter.

Hey bigger, who cares if they think that it's a proper topic for an ATV forum. It is to you or you wouldn't have posted it. Being an Okie, My first thought after the tornado warnings hit home and I had my family to safety was, "How can I get my DS into a cellar". So perhaps it is more relevant to ATVs than they thought.
BTW:
AlaskaYFM - Perhaps the jeep in your tag or the beautiful picture of snow covered trees are not relevant to an ATV forum either. Please remove them.

HEY BIGGER, I am always interested in these types of topics.. YOU are NOT wrong for POSTING this thread.. I do not care what anyone says!!! it is not in-appropriate to talk about these types of things, these types of things have'not happened to most of us. F- these tornados . I hate tornados and would not like one to occur in VEGAS and or anywhere else in the world. I DARE someone to make a wise crack about a natural disaster that could damage anyones livelyhood .. this is a serious subject and you do not need to catch any heat over this! IMO I hope this tornado season passes without too much harm.. good luck to you and your family, I also have friend down there where your at and would not like to here of any trageties..do not report this to a moderater, i would like to see the type of human would try to dog you out for this thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey Alaska, I read enough to know that you seemed to think that this thread was a waste of your time and saw no significance to ATV's, but yet you are the person who replied way more than anybody else. Take a look back and see just how much time you cost yourself by launching a personal attack on thousands of people.
I disagree with Bigger - I boubt Alaska is quite the good guy he was given credit for. If he was he would've acknowledged the fact that his first comment on this post was the behaviour of a DICK, and a simple apology to the midwest in general would've cleared it all up. Is this forsight abrasive enough for ya? There's still time ya know, its never too late.
Personally, I like it when members of this forum stray away from 4-wheeler talk on tangents once in a while. We all meet people on these forums and end up becoming riding friends down the road, and its a good way to learn about the character of the individual. For example - i know now that I would enjoy BiggerisBetter's company on the dunes, as well as the others on this thread who expressed similiar empathy.

I think everybody needs to chill, not everyone feels pain like everyone else, and not every one has a big heart, that's the way they were brought up,dont let it get to you. I still have friends till this day that i woulod like to knock them out for what they say,but hey that's there opinion, hell i bet people say that i should get out of california after the northridge quake, but it's not that easy..you guy's are getting all riled up over someones opinion or comment,if that was the case i would have paid some forum members a visit a long time ago,Personally!!!! there are so many problems that go on in life now a days that all i can do is give a prayer wherer it's deserved,i will tell you one thing that i will ot move there because of the tornados, just like some people wont move to california because of te earthquakes..
For future advice to all the people back east, move out if you have the chance,if not then deal the cards you were delt..
