Yes, definitely let me know how you make out with the wheel spacers. There is a cnc machine shop across from my work and I might try to have some made as well, depending on how the wife likes it. Any tips on assembling??

actually assembly is very easy. pretty straight forward stuff really.
Some on here have said to turn front wheels around , you may have been able to do that on an '04 model . If you try on an '05 your looking to take your valve stems right off (no clearance around brake caliper housing) would shear it off.

I'm riding a kmz 150. It's doing fine. a few quirks but nothing i couldn't handle...the engine is doing good. The reverse can be tricky but if you don't force it then no problems....all you gotta do when you change the gears from forward to reverse and vise versa is "feel it out" ....nudge the machine a little while moving the lever(apply light pressure) and let it pop/drop in to the gear. I can do it no prob without grinding. It also helps to drive forward a little bit or backup a little bit more (then try again) if it's not cooperating. The best way I can recommend if it hangs up.... is nudge the machine with your body weight while sitting and shift it when the machine is moving just a "hair"(tiny bit). Mine shifts best just before the machine "settles" completely. It allows it to feel it's way into the gear or synchronize itsself.

I just picked up 2 FX-150 mkIIs for my kids and was wondering if anyone has had an issue with the placement of the reverse lever. Both myself and my wife hug the gas tank when we trail ride in Oklahoma and it seems that where it is placed it will be right on the kids knee bone when we go trail riding.
Has anyone moved the level and if so where to?

Just got my two MKIIS and the meercat 50. One was damaged in the shipping crate but nothing too spectacular. Changed out all of the fluids in all three bikes. That was definitely not motor oil that was in there. One of the 150's didnt want to idle, it was running very rich on the bottom end but we were able to correct that by adjusting the low end idle mixture screw. Also we took off those tiny little intake snorkles and I will probably make a bigger hole in the airboxes tommorrow. The chains were extremely tight except on the 50. One of the oil drain screws was stripped from the factory so it had to be removed with the old hammer and chisel trick. They are a bear to get to to start with. The throttle cables on both of the 150's had to be adjusted because it would only open half way because there was so much slack in the cable. So far just trivial little problems. I dont think there is any type of quality control though at the kazuma manufacturing plant. The tires are very hard and so is the suspension. I lowered the air pressure to 3lbs rather than the recommended 14lbs. It also has the turning radius of a school bus. I think I am going to remove the steering stops as well. The motors seem to run strong but it never really feels like the clutch engages all the way. The motors are screeming and your only doing about 25-30 mph. This might just be a break in issue though. They are a whole lot slower than expected. The baffle has a 10mm screw that appears to hold it in but I was unable to get it out. Does anybody have any experience on this??? My buddy took his home and I will be playing with my wifes a little before work tommorrow so I will keep you posted on any new finds. As of now the meercat 50 seems to have been the best buy. It is a very strong running little machine. No complaints with that yet. I think it is built alot better than the 150's. It is kind of weird you do not ever have to change directions in which you shift. you can just keep pushing on the shifter and it keeps shifting, 0,1,2,3,4,0,1,2,3,4 and so on. You can go from 4th to neutral with only 1 click. Good night and I will find more tomorrow.
