Default easy fix for safety switch starting problem

My bike wouldn't start when i was a mile back in the woods.....no problem....i knew just what to look for. The rear foot brake has linkage to a contact switch that won't allow the engine to start unless the foot brake is pressed. The linkage had decided to "go away" possibly due to ground brush beating on it. FOLLOW THE WIRES FROM THE CONTACT SWITCH. THEY GO TO ANOTHER WIRE GOING UP TOWARDS THE BATTERY. UNPLUG THEM WHERE THEY ARE PLUGGED TOGETHER. PLUG THE TOP 2 TOGETHER (MALE AND FEMALE). YOU HAVE NOW BYPASSED THE SAFETY SWITCH ON THE FOOT BRAKE.
