Default Kazuma versus Yamoto

I'm very new to quad biking, and I'd like to buy my own bike but not spend too much money.

I think about a 150 cc is OK for me, as I'm not really expecting to go fast or in particularly rough terrain.

I've read a lot about Yamoto and Kazuma. People either say they are great value for money, and why pay more, or alternatively they are a waste of money, break down all the time, and you can't get the parts.

I also hear a lot of snobbery, that because its not a Honda or Polaris etc it can't be any good. (I drive a Skoda car by choice which many people choose not to for the same reason)

I heard that Yamoto is shaft driven, and Kazuma chain.

Is one better than the other?

Also heard that Yamoto is partly made by Yamaha, is Kazuma part made by Kawasaki?

So I'm after honest opinions ideally based on personal experience.

Looks like I can get a Yamoto or Kazuma 150 delivered for less than 700 GBP (about 1200 US dollars) , the question is should I?

and also, the price of both seems to be the same, so which is better?

Also hear that the 2005 model is much better than the 204 ones, is that true, how t tell the difference?
