Default Redcat 150

Anyone have a redcat VX 150 that won't idle? It runs fine, but won't maintian an idle. I adjusted the throttle cable but found if you turn the handlebars to the left all the way the throttle increases....turn the bars back to straight and it eventually dies. Always starts back up and runs fine.
I have followed the throttle cable down the bike and tie strapped it to see if this would help stop the left hand turn idle acceleration, it did not.
Also, I'd love to know how anyone has gotten to the actual idle screw adjustment. Seems like you would need to remove the gas tank to do it.

Welcome to the forum mas191, I had to remove the gas tank to adjust the idle on my wifes yamoto 150. You may want to try turning out the air screw a 1/4 turn first. It should be on the left side of the carb. And is easier to get to.

Thanks for the response. I'll check it out and back of the screw like you suggest.
