yamoto 150 atv questions
#11
Well maybe I'm a little color blind (hehe). I don't think it's moisture, I mean where would it be coming from since this quad isn't liquid cooled? The smoke does have a blue tint and definitely smells like burning oil. I pulled the plug today and it was a little wet with oil. Are there any products out there (like an oil additive) that would reduce the smoking long enough to get a little more use before replacing the rings and/or stem seals? Like I said in an earlier post, I just bought this quad a week ago so my 11-year-old son could go on some light trails rides with the "ol man.

The first 8 letters in my '04 Yamoto 150 are WINXCGZH if that helps. It has no reverse and a auto choke. I would try 30wt non synthetic oil and see if it helps any. If that doesnt help and if it isnt smoking too bad just ride it.
