I just got back from my first dune trip taking my little girls new mini falcon 90. I have to say I was pleasently surprised at how well it performed. It cranks out a ton of rpm's and I think it would do great with paddles. Good suspension, speed, size and looks. It takes a long time to warm up and to dial it in but once you do it seems like it will go like mad. Granted it isn't a honda or a high end bike but I bought in this price range for a reason and I feel like I made the right choice for the price range I was shopping in.
