Default falcon 250 exhaust

I just had a look at the prototype exhaust for the falcon 250 from Throttle exhaust. It looks and sounds awesome.
I even had a chance to ride it around. I was blown away by the improvement in power and smooth throttle response! Needless to say I ordered one then and there. If any one is interested you should call the off road outlet at 714-744-2887. I only paid about $250 for the header and silencer combinded. They also had prototype pipes there for the 90,110,and 150. I rode the 110 and it sounded super mean but I don't own a 110 so I didn't really have anything to compare it to.
I will post some pics as soon as I have a chance.

Do they have a website? Can you post a message on this thread when you post your pics. I'd greatly appreciate it. Have you done any other mods to your Falcon 250? I have modified my stock exhaust, replaced the carb with a Mikuni 34mm, air filter with a UNI Pod multi stage air filter, replaced front and rear tires and rims (10" on front), lowered front and rear of atv 1 1/2 to 2 inches each, widened rear track by a total of 6 inches and front by about 4 inches. Also some other minor mods and fixes. I have a setup guide and writeup on what I've done if you are interested. I have some pics posted if you want to see some of the things I've done as well.

I have a uni filter on mine and I have read your thread on the mikuni carb upgrade I think I amgoing to shoot for the 32 mm carb and see how that works. I am interested in getting some better tires on it but I am not sure how to measure my bolt patterns. Or what rims I should get.

I'm pretty sure the bolt pattern is 3 x 110. I couldn't find any rims with that 3 hole pattern on the websites I was looking at. I went to DennisKirk.com and ordered a set of 4 hole rims and drilled the bolt pattern in them. If you take one of the hubs off the rear axle and set it on the rim, inside down, it will pretty much center itself in the rim. Hold it in place and start to drill each of the holes out a bit to mark their position. Pick the hub up off the rim and drill through the rim for each hole. The front pattern is the same as well. The rear rims I got were Dennis Kirk number 551046, 8 inch AMS, for $26.95each and the front rims are Dennis Kirk number 551053 or 551054, depending on the offest you want, and are 10 inch ITP rims. I put Carlisle turf tamers on the rear, 20 x 11 x 8 and Bridgestone Mud Hook tires 22 x 8 x 10. I got the tires from tiresunlimited.com since they were a lot cheaper than anyone else for the same brand and size.

Nice pics, they make me want to go out to my shop and build one right now. I'll have to get my Argon bottle filled first. I have a ton of 1 1/2 up to 4 inch stainless steel tubing scrap laying around to use.

Looks like you have some nice riding areas. I miss that about moving from New Jersey to Delaware. I went from woods, hills and dirt to sand, flat and flat sand. Thank God my neighbor has a tracked bobcat so we can make some tiny hills and jumps. By hills I mean the same as what your bumps are. No more than 4 foot high at the most. The only thing I like is having 42 acres of trails and fields behind me. Not mine but the heighbors and I have permission to ride on anytime. Thanks again for putting the pics of the exhaust up. If/when you decide to put the Mikuni on your Falcon don't hesitate to IM or email me for any help or suggestions. If I can help you eliminate some of the headaches I had to go through it would make me happy.

If you look at my pics you'll see how the rims and tires look on my ATV. The rears are 1000 times better than the stock ones, especially with the 6 inch width increase over stock and the elimination of the tire rollover through the corners. Dollar for dollar I think the Carlisle Turf tamers work just as good, if not better, than the higher priced holeshot tires. You definately get more rubber for your dollar with the turf tamers. The Bridgestone Mud hook tires weren't a preferance as to handling, just price. I would have liked to get something a bit flatter/wider contact than what I did but money talks and they were on clearance. There is a definate improvement in handling and reduced amount of bump steer with the new 10 inch rims and tires. I also had made an aluminum plate that moved the inner tie rod ends out appx 1 inch from the stock holes on the steering shaft for better leverage/quicker steering. This also improved the nasty bump steer I had. With nice weather coming this weekend I'm hoping to get out and take it over some jumps. I already know I have to go up another notch or two on the rear spring to stiffen it up. Moving the pivot point back on the swingarm lowered the rear but also softened the rear ride a lot. I have been slowly going over higher and higher jumps to test the durability of the lowering block on the rear. So far it has held up without any signs of stress or fatigue. That's with 225lbs of me and I'm up to about 4 or 5 foot of air and appx the same distance on jumps. When I went higher than that I would get an occasional bottoming out. This is with the lowest/lightest setting on the rear spring. I may just bump it up a notch and take on some higher/longer jumps this weekend and take the block back off to check it. It's aircraft/space shuttle quality aluminum so I don't think I'm going to hurt it yet. I would like to know it's and the frame's limitations though. I have enough aluminum left to make another 2 or three lowering blocks and I didn't pay for it so I am willing to take the chance on it to find it's breaking point. I am hoping I don't get that far though. I'm too young to be an organ donor and prefer to have the suspension set up for comfortable and good handling trail riding.
