Differences between Jetmoto 125 and 150?
#1
I am trying to decide between the Jetmoto 125 and 150. Besides the obvious difference in the transmission with the 125 being semi-automatic and the 150 being automatic there does not appear to be much difference.
Even the power, weight and top speed are listed as being the same. Can the power and speed be the same going from the 125 to the 150? Is the suspension better on one than the other?
Wanting to get one for my oldest daughter who rides very well and loves jumping. If the quality is there then I would like to get the 200 for my wife.
Any comments or thoughts is greatly appreciated.

Evasive....
We just got our kids (first time riders 9 and 10) a jetmoto 125. If your daughter already rides, and is a little older, I'd probably go for the 150. I think the 125 is more in the 90/110cc class of machine. Couldn't compare suspensions between the two, but I don't really see the 125 as being a "jumper". Socaltoyman has a thread with some video of his 150, and that is probably more what you are looking for.
Hope this helps.

Evasiveone,
If your daughter is an advanced rider and can pick up shifting with a clutch consider the Jetmoto 200 as your first purchase. Both your daughter and your wife can share the quad at first. Since your daughter likes to jump the 200 may be the ticket. If you compare the 150 to the 200 the first thing to hit the ground after a jump in most cases is the rear axle. The 150 has its reverse gear box on the rear axle and the 200 does not. The axle design on the 200 in my opinion would seem to probably take more abuse, less parts to fail.
Look here to compare.

If you do decide to purchase the Jetmoto posts some pics of your daughter jumping her new quad.
Good Luck

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer some of my questions.
I am glad you told me about the 125 being closer to the 90 class. (hard to tell just by the pictures) I would of been disappointed in that.
What you said about the 150 reverse gear box is a good point and if the suspension is as stiff on the 125 and 150 like people have stated that almost makes them more dangerous as a bigger CC quad with good suspension. A good suspension can make up for some stupid mistakes. Maybe another reason to look at the 200 instead.
That 50 raptor the kids ride beats the snot out of them on jumps, especially after putting on the new cdi box and carb fix.
Again thanks, and any more comments or thoughts is appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Evasiveone, I would say that the 125's suspension is softer than the 150's or the 200's. It uses different shocks front and rear too. Both quads are basically the same physical size too. Even the 200 is basically the same size. Id say there isnt more than a 1" difference anywhere between the 125,150 and 200 quads size wise. As for performance, I havnt drag raced the 125 against the 150 but it would be pretty close. The 125 rider would just be shifting while the 150 rider would just nail the throttle.
