Dingo 150 or Dingo 250

Is one more reliable than the other? Is it possible to pull anything with either of them without destroying them? If not, is there a larger quad you can recommend?
I'm also getting 2 more quads for my daughters, teenagers. Would 110-150cc be the right size?
We've never ridden quads before and will probably only be riding a couple of hours per week on flat terrain. Any advice on what I should get will be appreciated. I can use a wrench but don't want to Very much. I don't mind doing it initially though. I figured Chinese quads would be OK since we won't be riding that much and will be in level terrain. Please let me know if you disagree.

i had my dingo's 150 now for appox 2 years, teriffic quads, very reliable. i use my atv almost 7 days a week pulling a garden trailer around, towing capacity is 400lbs on the 150, should be a little more on the 250, both atv uses honda clone engines, the 150 uses the gy6 honda and the 250 uses the cn250. you can buy engine parts at the local honda dealer. if you decide on the 250 the very first thing you need to do is change the roller weights in the variator,it will cost you around $20-25 and take appox 30 mimutes to install . you won't be happy with this engine until this is done, then once it done it's a great engine, you hafta remember these engines were designed by honda for their motor scooters. if it was my daughter's i wouldn't be looking at quads with racks, the racks make the atv feel much bigger and heaver than they are, the minimun size i would buy would be the 150, have you look at raceways 150 or 200 jet moto? the 150 uses the same engine as the kazuma, in fact most 150 with the automatic transmission from china use the same engine. if you decide on a 250 with the automatic and want to change the weights let me know and i'll tell you want size to order and how to install them. the top speed on a stock 150 is around 33-34 mph ,the 250 is just about the same not a lot of differance. but with the rollers installed on the 250 it will climb any hill as long it gets traction. if you have any more questions let me know.

Thanks Bill. That's a lot of great advice.
Raceway does look like the best place to buy everything. I'm still trying to figure out what to buy. I want to be able to pull a garden trailer around, probably 300 lbs. max weight. I've about decided on Jetmoto 150s for my daughters because of your advice and being automatic but looking at the specs on the 200 make me a bit undecided. Is the carb a lot better on the 200? is there a lot of difference in the suspension?
I'm not sure raceway still sells the Dingo. It says out of stock on 1 page and doesn't list them on the front page. I've not seen anything about the 2 cylinder engine on the Jetmoto 250 Hunter so I have more research to do.

You shouldn't have any issues other than a slight adjustment on the 150's carb. They have gone to manual choke so the issues they had in the past are fixed.
How old is your daughter?
Can she learn to use a clutch?
My daughter is eleven and started her clutching and shifting skills last weekend and did quite well. She is still a timid and cautious rider though. But all kids progress at a different pace. If you think your daughter can learn to use a clutch with ease then consider the Jetmoto 200 for her. I have to agree with Bill on the 150 and the automatic for convenience and ease of use. But if you want something for her to grow into and progress with then again consider the 200.
The 150 engines are strong and very reliable and you can't go wrong there. I do not know about the Jetmoto 200 but they seem just as good. There are some posts in the kids forum on the 200 and how they have preformed so far.
I am going to go and take a look at a 200 this afternoon or tomorrow. I want to see one in person before I make my purchase. The suspension on both the 150 and the 200 look to be far superior then the suspension on the older models.
Good Luck.
