Default Another satisfied Kazuma mini falcon owner!

I got my mini falcon 7 days total after I ordered it, they say 7-10 business days. It arrived and the guy unloaded it and put it right in my garage. He then waited until I took off the shipping cardboard and inspected it and then had me sign for it. It did arrive in perfect condition. I removed all the steel framing for shipping and put on the wheels and assembled the battery and installed it. I was very surprised at the tool kit that came with it. The one for my $6000 scrambler was junk and none of the wrenches even fit any of the bolts on it? not sure why they even include it. I then took the great advice from this forum and used locktite on any bolt I felt may come loose. I put the NGK 7 spark plug in and added the new oil and finaly used dielectric sealant for electrical connections. It was now all set to try.

It took a little time to get it started the first time but should be expected. Got it running smooth adjusting the idle and mixture screw, the mixture screw seemed to take almost a full turn to make a difference either way so I just centered it and left it. Now for the first run. I am around 190lbs and the little quad took off slow at first but once in mid range it would rip. I was throwing gravel all over in my drive way. I was very surprised at the speed and mid range power. I was throwing grass and rocks all over. I got it warmed up and adjusted the throttle screw for my 8 year old daughter. She is very skinny and around 55lbs so I didn't want a 50cc but a full size 90 might be hard for her to control. The mini falcon was perfect. She hopped on and drove around at around 5-10mph(limited by throttle screw). She had no problem stopping quickly or controlling the speed around corners. I then let my 5 year old son ride it, he is also around 50lbs and fits it perfect. He also did great.

So far I am very satisfied with the quad! In fact as I was ripping around the yard I was thinking I will be getting another one sooner than I planned so they can both ride at the same time.

Is there any other things I should do to ensure the best running quad? any zirks for grease?

I did inspect the steering system to make sure it would not turn to far and there is stops there that work very good and I don't see a problem. The only thing I can think of is if they hit a tree with just one tire it could bend the stop on it and cause a problem but you can't expect these little quads to be undestructible.

Thanks to everyone who posted tips on setting it up!
