Does anyone know if the Redcat MPX-70 has a rear foot brake? Does anyone have one and can review on it?
Thanks

We've got one and no, it does not have a foot brake. Like Raceway's website says, the hand brake is easy to pull for little hands. I would have liked a foot brake also but...... It has pretty good suspension, softer than our 110 and difinately better than the "suspensionless" Meerkat. Not much low end power but once rolling it has plenty of speed. It is powerful enough to haul me around without too much trouble (5' 7" and 165). I had some trouble initially with carb adjustment but now it is okay thanks to some great advice on this listserve and John @ Raceway.

My only gripe is that they put on some type of theft "alarm" on this thing. I know if I was stealing one of these little guys the alarm wouldn't come it to play! We are only able to ride it on weekends so I have to disconnect the battery each week when we leave our cabin. That was a PITA but I put a wingnut on on battery terminal and got er done. Overall, I think it is a value.

My Redcat MPX 70 has been a headache since day one. After every ride, I tighten almost every nut and bolt or replace the ones that have fallen off. My front ball joints are allways loose. Not much can be done about them. Now it won't start, something wrong with the electrical sys. Stay with a brand name ATV unless you are mech. inclined w/ time on your hands.

Boy have things changed since my post on this one. I haven't had any luck with this particular. Right now (and for the past couple of months) it has been sitting. It has a short in the electrical system somewhere also. I have no idea where to start to track it down. I can do a limited amount of mechanical stuff but electrical is beyond my brain.

There is a dealer that carries other ATVs that I hope will work on this. My daughter still rides her Meerkat but is really, really too big for it. Besides the electrical problems the motor has been incrediably tempermental and really we've never had a good experience with this particular one.

I've got to end on a positive note...............our little Meerkat 50, Mini Falcon 110 and MK 150II have been really good.
