After just purchasing the jm 125 for my 11 yr old son from Raceway ,i will say so far very happy.Raceway was very quick with delivery and also the Title after i recieved the machine.I do have some questions regarding this machine.1 The book says to use 93 octane or better?I want to change the oil were do i drain from and what grade of oil.How much? The book says there is a dip stick if so i dont have one?I was looking at the brakes and was wondering how to take them apart to change the pads when they need it?Any other suggestions regarding set up on this machine would be great. Thanks Again Raceway.

The drain plug is on the bottom of the engine and uses a 17 mm wrench. I put about 28-30 ozs in my 125, i used valvoline 10-40. I dont have a dipstick on mine either. The 150 and 200 do have a dipstick for some reason. All my Jetmotos run just fine on the mid grade and would probubly be ok on regular.
As for set up questions did you get a copy of the set up instructions from RaceWay? John should have those available.

Thanks,i purchased this unit from the floor model.so it came assembled..Just was wondering if there was anything you would recomend as for a once over.Have you had any problems or concerns so far with yours.Anything to watch out for?Does your chain rattle the guard when under way.Mine is scrapping this area and making a rattle sound. Im hoping it will stop when worn.Or maybe i will remove the cover and grind it down a little.Any information on this machine will be appreciated. Thanks

My daughter rides a JetMoto 125 and I've sold the 125's, 150's and 200's. When assembling I use Loctite on the main bolts. Always a good idea to double check the wheel bolts and the chain tension bolt underneath the bearing carrier.
The chain rattle is very common. Appears to vary depending on the weight of the rider (compression of the rear shock) and the angle of the swingarm.
Hope that helps.
