Default no preassembling on large atv's? Why

I'm new to atv's and i was really disopointed about you guys not assembling the larger atv's for your customers. I'm not to mechanically inclined it would really help if you guys would take care of the assembly,,,I was willing to pay for it even if it was more than 125$ to do it. Raceway should be more specific on there website about this issue.Im still gonna order a atv from you guys in march,,,cuz it's to good of a deal to pass up. But now I have to find someone to help me to put it together.Oh well it's still better than paying 3,000 for a polaris.

Welcome to the forum notenoughtoys28! I dont know for sure but I would guess they would have to make special pallets for the new/bigger Jetmotos. When you get yours I/we (there are a of sharp members here) can help you with any questions you have.

Setters RAceway will not do the large atv's because they just get too big to ship. They would have to raise the prices to be able to ship these and thats not what they want to do.

Notenough,

The assembly really is not that hard at all. If you can somewhat turn a wrench or even do an oil change you can do this with some basic tools, locktite and oil. We are here to help. Its not like you have to put the whole thing together. Just install wheels, bumpers, handle bars, and some other small things. No big deal. Its actually kinda fun. But you do have to be thorough.

Why would raceway not offer this service if someone was willing to pay for it?There nto raising the price of the quad just charging a fair price for the service provided. We all no that shipping can be expensive so leave it up to the buyer.Just offer the service. If this is the area no one else will go than thats just were raceway should go.Everyone can sell you acrated atv ,but one ready to go no one but raceway. To me this sounds like a great opportunity for raceway.Again just my thoughts.

Call your local trucking companies and see if any make runs from New York to Arkansas on a regular basis. You may find that shipping won't be too bad if you can get them to pick up your ATV and share it with a load. I used to do Transporation for the previous company I worked for. You would be surprised to know that there are probably local carriers in your area that would do it.

Well one reason they may not offer it is insurance purposes, they would become liable for that atv if they put it together and something went wrong

Sly they do preassemble most of the quads they sell but with the new model JetMoto they are full size unlike everything else they have so shipping is a big factor. They try to keep the prices low enough for the average joe to afford. If they started getting up to the big 4 price range they would not sell. There are other factors but shipping and cost is the biggest.

But the wieght doesnt change. This is how they charge you .Not by the size.My company ships things all different sizes and widths they dont charge for this just the wieght. You just tell them the size of the crate its up to them how to load it.
