Is anyone using synthetic oil like "Amsoil" in any of their Jetmoto equipment ? Are there any factory comments regarding use of synthetic oils?

Thanks

I would not recommend using Synthetic oils. The same oil that lubes the engine is used for the trans. So you want some friction, so the machine shifts properly.

Use the synthetic oil, just dont use any made for cars. Use synthetic that contains no MOLEY or Friction Modifiers. If you get synethetic made just for wet clutchs or atvs or motorcycles you be just fine.

Been using Amsoil Motorcycle syn oil, and it has been running great...feels better than conventional oils. My son decided to ride his Sunl 110 a couple of weeks ago when school was closed because of snow. It was in the low 20's and the unit started perfectly and ran great from the get go.

My background: was an auto tech for 10 years; father has been selling Amsoil since 82. Great Products!

As stated already, go with the Motorcycle oils because of the need for some friction.

Welcome to the forum aztec7! Which Jetmoto did you buy?

I have broken my Jetmoto 250 in on Valvoline 10w-40. I will be using Amsoil 10w-40 motorcycle engine oil for 4 strokes in it next. Its the same thing I put in my KTM. The rest of my Jetmoto's and Honda thumpers use Valvoline 10w-40.
