Default 100 Mini - Utility

OK, it came in today! I did have one issue, LR tire was punctured by a forklift blade and the metal crate was bent up pretty bad. A phone call to Raceway, and a new tire is on the way. I want to thank John and Danielle for the GREAT service. What you read on here about the service is true!!! Also, thanks to godIlovetoride for the setup/assembly overview in Kid's Quads forum. This is a good little machine, starts right up, a few adjustments to the carb and it runs great. Thanks also to 2manytoys for the heads-up on the loctite. I do have one question though. Is there an adjustment on the brake lever? This one seems real tight. Thanks again!

That's odd, mine is nice and easy to squeeze. Maybe the bolt for the brake handle is a little tight? Other than that, these are hydraulic brakes and there is no adjustment for them.

I'll check the bolt again. The handle seems to move freely, it's just takes alot of pressure to squeeze. It's actually tighter than my KQ's when setting the parking brake.

I just got mine for my boy yesterday and mine is kinda tight too, hard to press for him, especially to pull it back far enough to lock the brake.

I just got off the telephone with John at Raceway, very helpful, about the carb being unable to be tuned right with the manual choke, heads up for this atv, the book says all the way up is idle and all the way down is choke while looking at the carburetor. This is wrong, it is the reverse, all the way up is choke and all the way down is idle. Tks John, he also confirmed there is a gel pack in the carb on this atv.

Welcome to the forum blueicejt! 1

The stock batteries on these quads is nothing to brag about. I usually jump start mine and then it will usually fire on its own for the rest of the day. Next day may fire, day after that needs a jump again. I would guess there is a little bit of dirt in your carb and it needs cleaning.
