Well it got here in Indy yesterday, but they couldn't deliver it until Monday. Too long to wait, so I went and picked it up myself this morning.

First, one heck of a quad, very happy with it. Easy to put together, and everything was there. Drained the oil, filled it up with 10w40 Valvoline.

A couple of small gripes though. The poor thing is geared WAY TOO high. You have to slip the heck out of the clutch to get it moving. What is is everyone is doing to take care of that problem? Is it going to a 14 tooth front sprocket? Also one of the fittings on the crankcase that feeds the oil cooler hadn't been tightened up, so I had to do that, no biggie.

It will run with my Hawkeye, no problem. I let my son open it up just once.

All in all well worth the money. Hats off to Raceway, thanks for your quick shipping, and friendly disposition when I asked questions before I ordered it. My son didn't know what to say when I opened up the garage door. I had simply told him to come home and we would ride MY 4 wheeler. Priceless!

Glad to hear you got it and like it! John will send you a 15 tooth gear that make a big difference, I guess the newer production models have it already installed. are your tires like mine (tread pattern)?

I'll contact John about the sprocket. Yep, same tires "holeshot" type. I wish it had the same tires as your 150's.

BTW, isn't the owners manual a fun read? Chinese to English just dosen't work sometimes.

00XJ,

Post some of those Chinglesh sentences in my thread on the Kd's Quad's section. It's titled "godIlove2ride loves his Chinese manuals".

BTW, how long did it take to get the 15 tooth sprocket? Also looks like the leftside tierod end is getting sloppy. It has some up and down movement that it didn't have and the nut is tight.

It took a week or so once I told John I needed the 15 tooth!

Thanks for the review 00XJ! You will like the 15 tooth sprocket much better. It brings the quad to life and lets it perform like it should.

MWQ, we have not heard much from you lately about your Jetmotos? Did you get the 250 fixed? I would like to see pics of what went wrong with your rear spring!

My 250 is still in pieces. I have made the parts I need to fix the swing arm and am very close to welding it all back together....but...The problem I am having is time. I have been spending the last few Saturdays riding my KTM . I hadnt ridden it since last May and started riding it again on the trip with smb05. On top of that I have been spending the rest of my weekends and week nites working on getting my CNC mill running. I am now working on the communication between my computer and my CNC Mill. I am very close and should be back to working on the Jetmoto 250 by about tax time.

While it has been apart Ive made some aluminum linkage pieces and a handle bar mount to raise (about 1"), and move the handlebars forward about 2 1/4". You look like a pretty big guy outofline, would you be interested in such a handlebar mount?

Not sure! I could see having the handle bars raised up an inch but can?t see how you could put it forward with out it feeling funny steering wise. I did not notice it out riding but I had felt I would like the handle bars to be kind of bent forward. They seem to put your wrists at a bad angle. Probably not an issue for a smaller person but for me and my broad shoulders it's a bit narrow. Do you think the handle bars could take being bent forward an inch or so on each side?

Did your shock mount brake at the top or bottom?
