i dont mean any disrespect, but this atv looks just like a jm... it even has the same shocks..is it because this company and jm are clone atvs????http://www.scootersfactory.com...2nc9ubreblegkt8lstgnj3

I think in reality the only thing the same on this quad and a Jet would be the front shock and I will even bet they are not 100% identical. I have rode a quad that looks a lot like that one and it was quite scary compared to my Jets. You will find other quads with a few of the same parts as a Jet, but none with the same frame and I have yet to see any with the same 250cc moto Jet uses. Most have the Honda clone 250!

I just bought a PowerMax 150cc last week and it came with a JetMoto packing list............So some of the parts on the PowerMax must have came from the same factory somewhere!!!...There is no question in my mind...........Although...note only some parts.........Just the one listed on my Jetmoto sheet.(in with the owners manual)......But still a nice import quad..........And this is in Canada......Caper.......

It looks like it shares some of the same parts, but looks like total crap compared to Jetmoto. I've stopped telling people my quad is chinesse because of the dirty looks, and only the ugly welds really give it away to someone who doesn't know much.
The very small bolt pattern on the rear sprocket is also a dead giveaway for chinesse. The major ATV makers stopped using holes so close to the axle in the 80s because of bolts shearing off under higher power engines. Of course, my buddy has a quad from the 80s which has no suspension (I mean, no shocks, no springs, no nothing. Best he has is a spring under the seat =/ )
