There are thousands of orphaned children in the Ukraine that are forced to live their lives in dingy, run-down orphanages and year around Boarding schools such as Zaporozhye Boarding School #3.
Last year, we ran several fundraisers to help these children as well as children diagnosed with cancer, in the Zaporozhye Regional Hospital. We kind of felt like we wore out our welcome. As a result, we have decided to only run one fundraiser this year, for the Children of the Ukraine. We want to add something that the Children can use and enjoy for many years to come.
We would like to improve the playground area at the Zaporozhye Boarding School #3, which houses around 170-200 orphaned children ages 6-16. This picture is the current state of their playground area. As you can see it is not too exciting.

We would like to add a nice Swing Set and some other playground equipment. We are looking into pre-made and custom made sets to get the most from the donations we receive. Our goal is to raise over $2000 before August 2007, so the playground can be installed for the upcoming school year. If we find there is extra money, we will buy sports equipment for the children.
Please bring smiles to these children by helping fund their playground area. Any size of donation will be greatly appreciated. You will see the children playing with what your donation helped to build, in an upcoming photo report.

Not too sure what to make of this last months contest? my video had 3 votes 2 more then any other that posted with in that months time frame but it never listed it as in First place and I am assuming did not win? Would have been nice to add to the Orphans Equipment with that money! Oh Well!
