kazoma with silencer off...lol

i took the silencer off a kazoma 110... mini i think.... it was the loudest thing iv herd from something that size ever...lol........ it sounds like a harley or somethin.... of corse all quads would do this...but it was funny..... but not good for it

Yeah, without enough backpresure, you can do all sorts of bad things to your engine. Backpresure helps the piston keep from loosing as much speed on the compression stroke. Without it, you can break a rod, bent/shatter the crank, or cause all sorts of bad things to happen with the ignition (preignition, etc.)
Put the silencer back on and sell it before you do something to completely destroy it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

i don't know who told you that crap but it's not true, you can't hurt the engine with just removing the silencer, the exhaust pipe still creates enought backpressure, example when the last time you'd seen a harley with mufflers? most of the custom made ones run very short pipes, the only problems you would encounter running without pipes not silencers is not ony would you lose
power because you need some back pressure, but when the engine is shut down you could warp a valve because valves are exposed to cooler air and are cooled quicker than nornal, but other than that you can't hurt the engine just by removing the silencer

You lose power because there isn't enough back presure to help the cylander up, which results in more torque on the crank and rod (connecting the crankshaft to the piston.)
Maybe it wouldn't break in a couple minutes, but it can't be good.

first you need some spelling lessons , second take up some auto or motorcycle repair classes and learn more about how an engine works before opening up your mouth

Why the hell would you want something so loud? To annoy everyone? Or maybe to develop a constant ringing in your ear...?

thats not the point if it's loud or not, the point that i'm making it doesn't matter if the silencer is on or off it won't hurt the engine unless the complete exhaust is remove then you could warp a valve only if it's cool outside and you don't stick a rag in the exhaust port after the engine is shut down, other than that you can't hurt these engines just by removing the silencer unless after removing it , then engine could run to lean , and that could burn a piston,

My comment wasn't really directed at you are anyone.. It's just a general question cause I don't see why the hell someone would want to do that..

I was in a hurry, and someone who can't seem to grasp propper capitalization or punctuation (6 errors) shouldn't point out my 2 misspelled words.
"First, you need some spelling lessons. Second, take up some auto or motorcycle repair classes and learn more about how an engine works before opening up your mouth."
Then we can work on grammer and how to use quotes in BB code.
Have a nice day.
