no i use cleaner its called jt1 or something like that but yes i cover the filter in it then i let it sit for 15 minets then wash it out therouly and let it dry but i do not put that sticky crap on it i have those cleaners mainly cuss i got them for my moms forman but i m suposed to use the cleaner any way
