Jetmoto 150 Carb problem---leaking fuel from air intake side
My son's 06 Jetmoto has sat for a few months and we went to start it today and noticed fuel spilling out through the air filter, pulled the air filer hose and started the ATV and observed fuel coming from one of the brass tubes located on the air intake side of the carb. OK, so I pulled the card, float moves freely, removed the 2 brass jets and cleaned them, sprayed cleaner in every port and blew dry with compressor, reassembled and had the exact same problem.
Any ideas?????/ new float valve needle and seat???
Thank you
Joe

Sounds to me that you just need to adjust the float level down a bit so it does not fill the bowl as much. Just don't know why it would have changed from last year? I have adjusted one of my 150's floats while still on the quad, try removing the bowl then turn the gas and see if you can lift the float and have the needle seal in the seat and stop the flow! If it does with out too much force adjust the float down a tad and put the bowl back on and try again. You my want to open the drain after just to verify there is fuel entering the bowl with your new adjustment!

Well, there really is no way to adjust the float other than bending the metal tab that holds the needle valve, which I tried. But no luck. the needle valve and seat look good. Any other ideas would be appreciated.
Do they make a float / needle valve repair kit for these carbs.
This ATV only has about 4 hrs on it total.

Here is the best diagram I could find of how it all works, so if your getting gas flowing out of the inlet small holes you must have a clog to the top of the jet holes causing the gas to flow backwards and not up and forward. At least that is what I am seeing. Seems it should stop flowing once you give it the toddle?

Have you removed or adjusted that front screw, that may be the problem? If it's to far out it may be too much fuel through the pilot jet!?
