I first went to test the Tao Tao 250. I hated it. It seemed very unstable. The bars would shake so much that I nearly felt dizzy when I got off. There was not a lot of power to it either. I somewhat knew the owner and he told me he had just crated in a new vbike 250 V4S, and he was going to test it out over the weekend to see how it felt.
I went back in after the weekend like he said and he told me it was MUCH better that the Tao Tao. I asked to test it out and he invited me to his house that night to check it out. THe Vbike 250 blows the Tao Tao 250 out of the water with power, comfort, and stability.
I talked to him for awhile and then he asked if I wanted to check out his Tao Tao 300. Of course I said yes. I pulled out of the yard and it felt somewhat similar to the Vbike 250. I got into some and it had some more power than the somewhat smaller vbike 250, but it really didn't feel all that comfortable. Felt as though it was harder to turn also. I am not the most skilled rider BUT I felt the vbike was a better choice for the money. 1000 less and it wasn't all that much slower or less power. My brother thought the same thing, which is why we are getting a 250 V4S. Like I said though, I didn't tear into them too much as they were not mine and he was doing me a favor and letting me try them out before I made a decision. IF I was going to get a 300, I would most likely get a 1-2 year old used brand name for nearly the same price.

Well I know this is going to be a shock to some of you but after several talkes with my wife we have decided to sell out ATV's and get her a 150cc scooter.Yep the V4s is gone.We just havn't been able to get out and ride like we had planned with my daughter playing softball three weekends a month and two nights thru the week.
Also with gas prices going thru the roof we thought it woud be a good move.I have a duel sport Enduro and by getting my wife a scooter we can at least take a ride at the spur of the moment when ever we get a chance.I will still be lurking around and mixen it up around here.
Who knows we may get back into it once we get some free time in a coupple of years...

Nooooooooooooooo, say it isn't so. Oh well thats understandable. My wife, daughter, and I have had the ATVs for a while now and havn't got them out on the trails yet. We will eventually get out there.
Hey, I wonder what the MIC ATVs will be like in a few years when you get back into them

do any of ur vbike v4s tail light come on as soon as u turn the switch? i was just wondering. mine does but its not even a problem except having to buy light bulbs a little sooner than usually but a couple bucks isnt nothin.

Hi lilc9928, my tail light only comes on if the the headlight switch is in the tail light position or the headlight position. Are you sure the switch is all the way off? because it is a two position switch.
