You have two that won't start? It almost seems like you may have had dirt or something in the gas can that you used to fill the bikes. You may want to pull a carb off of one of them and clean it real well. Then take some air and blow out the jets. Also if you have an inline gas filter I would check it or even change it.

Are these 07 250 Sports or Hunter? Before I rejetted mine I did have to choke them for a while till they warmed up. But you're saying the wont even fire! Try a spray of starting fluid on the air filter. Should not normally need that but if you do get it to fire it will tell you it's a fuel problem! Did you buy them already assembled or in the crate?

JUST A 5 MINUTE FIX
O.K here was the problem...
Both 2007 250 sports would not start well...
My inital observation was that they both seem to be flooded all the time and when i got them started, they smoked alot and stank of fuel. From this, I got the sense that they were burning too rich. As well, the plugs were blackened (fouled).
I took the quads to Derek my dealer here in Edmonton who determined that the the "needle jet" in the air throttle in both quads was set by the factory at 'sea level" altitude.Well, I don't live at sea level, i live at 1500 ft above sea level here in Edmonton. Our engines ,because of the higher elevation need to draw in more air than gas to get a good lean burn. So they were burning too rich,(allowing more gas than air into the Carb.) Derek popped out the needle jets in both quads and pulled out the "E-Clips" and re-set them to the second notch from the bottom of the needle jets. (there are six settings,). The factory setting was at the middle notch of the needle jet.(Sea level). He moved the E-clip down one notch, allowing the needle jet to sit higher in the Carb allowing more air than gas into motor creating a leaner burn.
Next we replaced the factory plugs with NGK de8's. Guess what happened?
They both started in 2 trys and stayed running!! We had to choke them, at half choke, initially, but after 5 mins of warming up, they both ran on their own with the chokes off.
Derek made a minor adjustment to the idle screw to slow them down a bit and the rest is history! just to point out though,
One of the quads was'nt running smoothly, it was revving up and down on its own, Derek did'nt like the sound of that. so he thought it was faster and easier to switch out the Carb on the spot with a new one.He thought that the float was set too high in the carb causing it too rev up and down.
It took him 15 mins to remove the carb and replace it with a new one, i watched him do it, and i learned that it was easy to do! After making sure that it was bolted in tight enough he decided to check the nuts and bolts on the intake pipe only to discover it was loose and was'nt creating a proper seal.
We determined that this was why the engine was revving up and down all the time because it was drawing in air through the loose connection at the intake pipe.So he tightened that up as well.Problem solved.
Anyway, I got a new carb out of the whole ordeal when it probably did'nt one because of the loose nut on the intake pipe.
Now they both run great!!Thanks to Derek!
