Another rattle place on the 07 Jetmoto 150
#1
Seems these are rattle traps (at least mine are)! I discovered and fixed another place the chain seems to have been hitting. As you sit on the 150 the chain loosens up and if your chain is not real tight to begin with it will hit on the front guard as shown in the first photo I posted. The second is the fix which is to move the top guard mount forward so the chain will not hit the underside of the guard bracket.

The chain also hits the rear (bottom out) guard that covers the sprocket. I cut the front of the guard back about an inch as outlined in red where the guard used to extend out to.

I am going to be purchasing a jetmoto 125 to begin and then probably get the 150 in about a month as finances allow, and I was wondering how the rattle situation is with these. My friends son has a 90 Chinese brand dont' know what, but that thing rattles like crazy, very annoying to me.
So I am assuming I will be looking at doing some modifications myself to improve on that then?

I have no experience with the 125, the 250's are very smooth and have no rattles what so ever but the 150's vibrate like crazy and brings out every rattle and then the chain issues I posted make matters worse.

Good job fixing the rattles outofline..nice pics showing everyone else how to fix theirs.
Broncogirl89, my 125 doesnt rattle but it does have a little vibration you can feel above 3/4 throttle. Sort of a buzz sound.
