My Jetmoto 150 sucks
#11
I don't know about the new style jetmoto 150s but my 06 one is a pos. I'm sure I can get it running again but that doesn't diminish the fact that it is a pos. From what I've read and what outofline says the 07s are much better.
The two kazumas (even the sunl) was better. All came from raceway and they were very helpful - I have no complaints about their service. I'm sure they would have helped me more had I asked them but sometimes you just don't feel like fooling with it any more.
As to used name brand: our yamaha timberwolf was bought new - it's 14 years old and runs great (looks like crap but runs great). My rancher I bought used it is the ES model with the speedo etc - it's an 02 model and now has 1500 miles on it. It has done a lot of work and play and is a tank - a very good machine.
The name brand machines are so much better. But the chinese ones have their place. Like I said I like the kazuma - it's just not nearly as substantial as my two japanese/american 4 wheelers. It's fine for putting around on and will take occassional light abuse.

see you have had good luck with yours so they redone alot on them made them a little better huh like i said not a dumby but dont want to spend more time working on them then driving it i bought a tomlin 150 crossfire go cart it last for about 1 mounth then never run again it is torn apart in the grage the rings broke and tore the cyl. head all to pices broke valve rockerarm just torn all to pices so just scard to buy them off brand names sometimes but i see your vidos and they look pretty good so i might just buy one for the heck of it

If you can find a suitable name brand even used for your son by all means go that route! The Chinese atv's still are not up to their quality. But the Jet 150 is a good size with out being to big or too small, has full auto trans with reveres, enough power to pull anyone along and is $1399 shipped from raceway. There will be some work as you can read from my 150 experience. http://www.racewayatv.com/jetmoto-150-cc-atv.html

I don't know if the Vbikes are much better, Jet has better engineering on thier frames and such but they all use the same basic parts and quality. I would imagine KTM's are much better have never dealt with them myself!

i look at your vids. and they look like the jetmoto are nice i own a cutomizing shop in va looking to find some to sell so i foind one for my son to play with and if any good i like to start selling them at shop i work on atv and motorcycle service them tires things like thet rebuild top ends sell some parts i just dont want to sell no junk and get a bad name i have a good one right now dont want to ruin it

Chinese atv's may not be your thing to sell then! They all are built with poor quality parts and materials. They are fine for someone like myself who knew they would take some wrenching but wanted new and was the price I wanted to pay. There are lots of Chinese atv dealers around here and I'm sure they have their share of upset customers but I think they try hard to warranty and service them for their customers.
