Just orderd Mini 100 utility! Need Advice
#1
Hi Everyone,
I am a newbie to this forum. My son wants a 4 wheeler from Santa and after 2 days of searching the net until my eyes hurt , we decided which one Santa should bring him. We decided to go with the mini 100 utility. This was based mainly on the Excellent reviews of raceway by all posts I have read. I even got excellent service before the sale I sent a few emails and the longest it took to answer one was 12 minutes...some I sent to other dealers still havent been answered after 2 days. I know when I get it I have to go over all the bolts with loc-tite but I have some other questions.
Now to my Questions:
1) I have read on here some have Gel-pacs in the carb. Do I need to pull the carb or will this dissolve?
2) I didnt see any decals on it and was wondering who actually makes the unit.
3) I know the motors on these are usually clones of Jap bikes so which motor is this closest to?
If there is anything anyone can tell me I would appreciate it. Also if there is anything I left out that someone can add please let me know.
Thanks a mill.,

Hey Jeff!
I bought my son the Mini Ute about two years ago, your getting a good machine. It has thoroughly taken the abuse he has given it. As far as setup, this is what I remember:
1. Mine did not have a gelpac in the carb, but you could easily take the carb off, pull the bowl and find out. I would recommend removing it instead of letting it dissolve if there is one.
2. When I purchased mine, I was told that it was manufactured by JetMoto.
3. The engine is a Honda GY engine clone if I remember correctly, but Raceway should be able to get any part you would ever need. Setup was a cinch, but don't forget to loctite mounting bolts and such. I had a tranny mounting bolt work loose before I loctited mine. Good luck, and if you need any setup advice, send me a PM.
