chinese atv parts.

hello everyone. i have just recieved two atvs. they are ata 125h, the sticker on the frame says taotao, so i believe thats the brand. the place i purchased them from said the engine is a honda clone. i had a couple issues with them and the place of purchase is sending out replacement parts. my questions are. is there a brand of the engine used in these? where is the best place to purchase parts? i can purchase through the place i bought but would like to check and see what else is out there. the engines are my main concern for parts. if any one knows the name of the engine do you know where i can get a parts breakdown and maybe evenif there is a manual out there someplace? they seem to be built pretty good. is the taotao brand the same as any other companies out there? if anyone can help me out i would appreciate it. thanks in advance. forgot to mention only thing i see on the engine is 124cc and a sticker with 157fm1 on it.

On these Chinese ATV's the engines usally are not the issue if you maintain it properly. Typically mic atv's have poor air filters so you have to keep on top of that so you don't suck dirt in the engine. Also change out the shipping oil when you get it home and you should be good to go. The net is full of online parts suppliers for these things they all use common parts it just they are all mixed and matched differently depending on brand. What gives grief is elecltrical wiring, connections, rubber components, bolts (vibrating loose) and on many mic atv's the pivot points on the suspension are cheapo.
Chinese ATV's are cheap however some are "really cheap" and they cut corners in some areas like suspesion pivot points (no bearings just plastic bushings) and the amount of metal they use in some parts. I've had 3 mic kids atv's and by far the Jetmoto 150 has been the best machine, least amount of troubles, and best bang for my buck. However even it has some issues in areas that could be made better.
