You can go to your profile and creat a Gallory here or host them elsewhere like Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket like I do.

I've seen those before.... a 250 with a CVT trans is it not??? What factory was it made in? It should have a plate on the frame. The engine pictures are dark so its hard to see. What's wrong with it or what parts do you need?

Default answer to issues????

I think it has a short in it. When I picked it up it ran fine no problems...then I got it home and installed a new battery and it still fired up. But, when I turned the toggle switch off (yes I said toggle switch...the previous owner lost the keys and used a toggle switch spliced with speaker wires...yes I said speaker wires) then engine sounded like it was turning over. I pulled the speaker splices out of the toggle switch and it cut off. I connected the red and red/white wires from the old key switch together to get it to run hot and it fired right up, but then when I turned the handle switch to off the engine sounded like it was still trying to turn over. So, short in the stator, starter, cdi???? I also was having a hard time getting it in gear when the engine did fire. I am going to change the oil and plug this weekend and see what happens. I will need a new key switch..two wire, most that I have seen out there are four wire but I do not know what the other wires are to without a wire diagrahm or owners manual.

Hey lhayden
Welcome to the ATV forum.

After checking out the Pic's, your quad is a 250 Commando made by QIANJIANG.

Seem like you have a wiring problem.

I have the 250 Service Manual in PDF format, with the proper wiring diagram.
For some reason the PDF file will not upload to this post.

If you want, PM me your email and I will send you the manual that way.

Hope this helps.
Dave
