It works well! No problems. And it gets me from A to B. Mostly sideways.
No grip on asphalt = awesome.
Absolutely No grip on ice = awesome.
Good grip on snow = AWESOME.

I love it!

I ride any time I want in the winter....so far my coldest was -5F....thats -20C.

I ride a 2wd Honda 200cc Fourtrax. Ive never had any trouble with it starting, just pull the choke and hit the button. I let it warm up for 5 mins or so while I gear up....then Im off.

Traction hasnt really been a problem but I got good tires and the gearing on the Fourtrax helps alot. If I start losing traction I just shift my weight to the rear and Im good. Ive ridden in 14 inches of snow.....fairly successfully.

Ive got Tusk grip heaters from Rocky Mountain ATV on me and my sons quads.....they are super cheap at $20 a set but they work great. They really make a difference. So far they are holding up great and I highly recommend them for cheap heaters. I run Symtec grip heaters on my road bikes.....they are quite a bit better but twice the price. I didnt figure they were necessary considering the lower speeds I hit on my quad - which turned to be correct. If I was blasting down the road at 50mph though the cheap Tusk heaters probably wouldnt do the job.

Ride that quad.....snow or shine.
