110cc atv starting problem

Default 110cc atv starting problem

Hello all i have a 110cc atv i bought off usaatvs.com
the other day the atv just quit and wouldn't start, no cranking, no power, no nothing. I can jump the starter and it runs great, till I shut it off. Then it has no power again. please help

Id guess the stock battery is junk.

My son's 110 had a similar problem and I found what appeared to be a ground wire just behind the reg/rev limiter the wire is green with a male/ female connector that was loose or is the ground still good IE. loose screw or broken wire

I agree with the first post. The battery would be the first thing I would check. Do you have the factory charger?

no my bat. charger is just a 6v/12v car charger and ti trickle charges the bat in about 1 hr. never had a problem with it. some thing els to check would be rectifier or rev limiter
