Default Ticking sound on a Kazuma 150cc

Hi everybody! Today was a mixed day, we were having fun, until the Kazuma decide to start failing. I have a ticking sound" I will assume that are the valves, any other suggestions? Also with the ticking sound there is lack of power!

The only thing I did before going out riding was changed the oil with a Valvoline 10-40w 4 stroke and clean the air filter, I gave a couple hours and then decide to start failing.

Thanks for your help!

Hi everybody!, well I adjusted the valves at least, that is what I think. But it is not fix, the kazuma 150, starts right up, but when I start accelerating the quad start making explosions and start smoking!(not bad! The quad doesn't use to smoke before, Am I doing something wrong when I adjust the valves or do you guys think something else could be wrong?

thanks for your help!

I adjusted both valves to .004,
