Default 110cc Wont Start

My Daughters 110cc Quad wont start. It died after a day of riding, and figured it was a dirty carb which happened before. So I cleaned the carb, got it running, while adjusting the idle and air screw it died. spent 2 hours adjusting carb and trying to get it to start again. I was able to get it to run for like 3 seconds then it would die, this happened like 8 times. Seemed like a fuel problem so I cleaned the carb again blew out all jets with air. Now I'm getting nothing, just cranks.

I have Fuel (spark plug is wet, and smells of gas)
Checked for spark against head, seems fine
seems to have good compression
tried with air filter on and off
adjusted valves
checked all safety switches
fully charged battery
even tried starting fluid in the cylinder, and nothing.

What am I missing,
I thought AIR + FUEL + SPARK + COMPRESSION = START
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'd start with a new plug. We also have a 110.. ours kazuma.. It eats plugs. new plug always seems to work.. once you get the shipping crap out of teh carb... sounds like you took care of that.

Has the valves ever been adjusted? I was having trouble getting my son's 110 kazuma to start especially when cold. Made the adjustments now it fires up first time every time.

Thanks for the replies,
I adjusted the valves, gas was 1 day old and I always use sea foam with it (lol), The brake light comes on and this quad doesn’t have a remote starter kill switch.
I though it might be a safety feature, but I shouldn’t get spark if it was right?
I am getting spark.
I picked up a new plug, and I'll try it tomorrow

Ok tried new plug = Just Cranks
Adjusted valves again (made sure I was at TDC on compression stroke) = Just Cranks
Verified Spark, Sprayed Starting Fluid in Cylinder = Just Cranks
Also verified compression through exhaust, in case it was clogged

Shouldn’t it at least ignite the Starting Fluid?

Is it possible for the timing to get thrown off, if so how do I check it?

My buddy has a 110cc that he said I could pull his carb and put it on to see if that works. Have to wait until the weekend to do it, but I don’t think it’s the carb.

In the meantime I have to be missing something

When you adjusted the valves...was the cam was correctly timed with the flywheel? And were you at the correct TDC? The one after the intake valve closes?

Was the cam correctly timed with the flywheel?
(mywifesquad) I have only basic Mechanical knowledge, could you please explain how I can check. I'm not familiar with that

The valves I always done at TDC compression stroke .004, never really paid attention to see if the intake valve was closed. I put my finger over the spark plug hole while turning the engine to check compression and make sure the valves are not tight (have a little play) to confirm I’m on compression stroke.

When you had the Cam(to set the valves) at TDC. Did you find TDC by the "T" mark on the flywheel?

There are 2 TDC's with a 4 stroke...the one after the intake valve closes is the compression stroke and when the valves need to be adjusted...if you were at the other TDC the valves could be set wrong.

Yes, I made sure the T was lined up through the hole on the flywheel during the compression stroke.
I also adjusted them again just to make sure, I wasn't at the wrong TDC.
I guess I'll try a different carb, Hopefully that works I'll let you know.
Thanks for the Help
