called on 11-05-08 to purchase an atv for my son. Called the number from their website and specifically ordered a red ATV. The guy on the phone assured me that the ATV that would be shipped would be red. On 11-10-08 I received a call from Dominion Freight saying the ATV sent was black. They also sent it to the wrong address. They sent the ATV to Rhode Island instead of centerville, Massachusetts. I called Budget ATVS back and informed them that they sent the wrong ATV as well as sent it to the wrong address. The guy there named "Trevor" became very beligerent and arrogant. He said that he sends out 600 ATVS a day. If a black one was sent than that's the one that I will receive. I told him that I did not pay for an ATV so that he could send me what he wanted. I wanted the color I ordered. He told me that he would call DOMINION FREIGHT and I would not get an ATV at all. These guys are not professional at all whatsoever. He was a disrespectful *******. He has not refunded my money as of yet. and I never received the ATV. I would rather have my money back, than to do business with a guy such as himself, unprofessional and ignorant. I am still waiting for my refund and He purposely scams people out of their money and sends them the wrong item purposely. He also sends it to the wrong address so that he can collect 20% for returning the merchandise. People do not buy from BUDGETATVS he is a scam artist. He will take your money and not send you anything.

Search any online ATV ordering outfit and you'll find the same.

That is not a true statement above.... Yes most of them do have complaints (and many of them I have no idea how they are still in business even), but look up kidatvs.com & you won't find one complaint on them, & we have been around for almost 7 years & have sold over 16,000 machines in that time. I & my staff try very hard to keep it this way... even though you can't make everyone happy, we have done a good job & this statement above is a valid statement except for the ANY part. There are others out there too... I just don't know of any hahaha. I just wanted to make sure potential customers don't think this is always the way it is & deal with crappy companies because they all have issues & are a scam... good companies are out there that you will get a fair price for the machine & have the customer service & parts to back them up.

I was able to get out in the garage today and finally got it fired up. Boy does that 107cc run nice! I added a plastic fuel cutoff inline between the tank & carb and gassed her up. I pulled the right side footwell so I could check the oil. It looked and smelled like motor oil, it's just as thick as honey at ~28degF out. Figured out you have to mash the foot brake to energize the starter. Then cranked and cranked and cranked it. No fire? It is cold out. I got nervous, pulled the sparkplug to check for spark. A wicked blue arc there. Popped the plug back in and tried again. It lit right off! Within 10-20sec of running I could idle it right down as smooth as butter. It is very smooth for something solidly mounted like it is. I set the throttle lock screw real low for the kids, ran it a good 20min until it was good and HOT. I let the kids try it in the driveway a bit and then changed the oil. The only issue so far is I have no headlights. The round cyclops headlight has a small amber 'running light' setting that does work (it's got 2 bulbs in it), but none of the 3 headlights are working. I poked around until it got too dark and cold and gave up for now.

I think I remember something about them shipping them disconnected for some lame safety reason......something to do with the reason why no other kids quads have headlights....dont remember what it is though.

You think that would be a handy little detail to add in the owner's manual. It's funny. Like you guys say, things like the owner's manual look the part. It's an official looking 40 some page book, stamped for the ATA-110D model, yet it contains nothing but warnings and cautions. No specs, capacities, part #'s, not even how to start the engine! Outfits that sell these REALLY should thank sites like this.

I've had 4 chinese atv's and the owner manuals weren't great other than the Baja ones. Actually come to think if it Baja has VERY good ones I was quite surpised at least on the baja 90. It appeared to be made and printed in the USA by someone who knew what they were doing.

Most the Chinese ones are just translated into english or language of choice etc.

Manuals are 1 of the things Eugene at Jetmoto always wanted to do...kept waiting for his atv line to settle, (was hoping the Jetmoto 400 would be the baseline) It didnt happen and Id guess never will..

The Baja line was very close to being THE ATV from China..

Yes, you'd think any retailer would at a minimum send you a printed out basic maintenance sheet, with parts, specs, startup instructions, etc. My Taotao did come with a "Taotao vehicle" DVD. No sound or text to it, just a couple of Chinese dudes demonstrating VERY basic unpacking/uncrating and setup of the various Taotao machines.

The set up/assy instructions was one of the things I did for RaceWay and Jetmoto..Stupid part was they didnt include them unless you asked for them?
