Default What chain does this atv use?

I got the ATV running, it actually runs great. The only problem left before riding it is I need a chain.

It didn't have one at all.

The model number of the ATV is BC-G150

Does anyone know what chain this four wheeler uses?

Thanks for any help!

if you look at the front and rear sprockets you will see a number stamped like 420, 428, etc

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I can't find any numbers stamped on either sprocket.
The 428 chain is too short. What would be the next one up? It's about 3-4 inches too short.

The 428 is not the length of chain but the pitch and distance between links. If you get that wrong your chain will skip and wear out fast

Bring the old chain into some place where they will give you the proper pitch and width of the chain.

Does the 428 fit on the sprockets correctly? If not it's 520.
Take a sprocket to a cycle shop. They can match it up.

Of course it could be.
I was thinking that 428 and 520 are the 2 main pitch's used.

Your best bet is to remove one of the sprockets or if u have the original chain take it to a shop. Here is a idea of all the available sizeshttp://www.moto-chains.com/site/898528/page/578189
When I did mine between ordering wrong sprocket size and getting the wrong chain it cost me more than it should have. Luckely the local dealer took the wrong chain back. Mine ended up being a 420 chain. If you have the original chain the size will be stamped on every 5th or 10th link usually
