Maybe open your own thread on a new topic will get you better responses.

On the same original topic, BMS also seems like a brand to be watching as well.

Fastest1 is in the right place, the contrast between his first reply in this thread and this one, should act as a warning to those who think the Chinese/Taiwanese makers have it sorted.

As to his problem with brakes, my guess is the piston in the master cylinder isn't coming back far enough to uncover the hole into the reservoir. As things warm up, the fluid expands, putting the brakes on, then they get hot and it gets worse.

And what do the Taiwanese have to sort out? Hisun and C F Moto are not Taiwan.

TGB are, we were going to open an agency for them but had so much trouble with the first one we bought that we gave up on the idea. Some Taiwanese bikes are probably good, some Chinese ones will be, the idea that Taiwanese are all good and Chinese all bad, is silly.

I'll try not to be long winded. I've been riding my bike about one weekend a month since Dec. 2015. Since this is my first bike, I don't have anything to compare it to. I've seen guys on brand new Japanese versions with problems of stalling, smoking, lack of power, etc. My bike has been in the shop about three times within the first year. Even though the brake line issue has been addressed and repaired with the dealer, I think it runs pretty good. However, I do not like the shifting, which requires me to press the foot brake and press a button on the gear selector to shift from Rev. to Drive (H)/(L). Even on level ground after pressing the foot brake, it's hard as heck to move the gear selector. I mean it really makes me wanna cuss (I try not to, but haven't forgotten the words). Ok, I'm done venting.
