Default Monster Project

Hello everyone! Working on building a full custom 110F taotao quad for my son. Right now I am having a hard time finding a rear tire set that is wider and if not 3 stud how can I convert

I moved this over to the Chinese quad section.

Hopefully you'll get the answer you're looking for. You might also want to look in the sub category here of kids atv's.

why do you want to convert from 3 stud? you could add a spacer and longer studs. i have a Zhejang that sits a good 6-8" wider than your machine and is running larger tires and was told when i bought it it was only a 110. Body and seating area is identical to her gio 110.

Zrock? Do you know of a wider 3stud rim? I have the 16x8-7 and I'd like a 16x9.5-7 if possible before I buy tires. I been looking for tires too and the best I can find are ams swamp fox 16x8-7 $37 each

i have never really looked around. Look into the sport quads they use a small rim with wide tire. you should be able to find what you are looking for their. You could probably get a machine shop to build you some adapters to go from 3 stud to what ever you find.

sounds like the quad frame i just picked up would fit your build pretty good. Wider suspension along with wider tires

I would have thought the standard rims would take 1.5" wider tyres without trouble.

ya you can make the tire fit the rim but it will also change the diameter of the tire

I bet it is less than the difference 8psi pressure and 4psi pressure will make to tyre diameter.
