Hi guys. Newbie here from the UK. Just got myself a 150cc quad off ebay. Was looking for the vin so I could find out the make and model. Unfortunately it seems to have been filed off. Can anyone give me a rough clue by looking at the pictures?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Really need new front fairings.

 

I would be a little worried about buying a bike that has had the VIN filed off, particularly as all the stickers have gone too. The black nosepiece is unusual as most have either louvers or a fairly large light mounting. Also the strengthening ribs in the front mudguards (fenders), I can't say I have seen that on other bikes. The engine may be a GY6, but you can't see the cylinder on your photos. This wouldn't narrow it down much as many makers used that engine a few years ago.

 

The engine is stamped "Chen yang"
I had no idea the vin was missing when I picked it up. Likely the guy that had it before me didn't know either as he hadn't worked on it yet.

 

Looks exactly like my sons Dinli 90cc I sold last year. Are you sure it's a 150?

 

Oh wow so it does. MI be may be a bit bigger though. The plastics didn't go down under the footwell. The engine is stamped 150.

What year and model was your quad?
I'm struggling to find any parts in the UK.

 

I see a bunch of stuff on eBay. Mine was a T-Rex but I do see that it also came in a 150cc
