Turning switch off the turn starter off would kill spark to keel running

The push button start is what would engage the starter motor. The toggle switch is only supplying power to the push button. Only when the push button is pressed does it complete the circuit to engage the starter.

Gotcha. Wasnt thinking that you use both toggle and push button. Would a remote control kill work with this setup?

Should work fine. You are just substituting a on/off switch for the key switch.

So after 2 days. And new keys switch. Im no closer to an answer as to why it cranks with keyswitch. Even with push button unplugged it will crank

Sorry it will crank with brake switch and keyseitch on.

Fianlly got it to crank with button now. But have no spark. I ran through a pinpoint test through the cdi mr. Lynn edwards walked through with another known problem. All passed pinpoint. So i checcked DC volts from red/black wire coming from magneto. The AC ignition to ground pin. Hit start button and voltmeter reads -OL. Which im assuming my magneto is bad?

Also timing trigger wire from magneto reads .02 when cranking
