If you use a oil that was not ment for a wet clutch the clutch will slip. Cannot just go to the local store and buy any automotive oil. I use rotella t7 in all my toys

I used rotella it's not slipping it has forward neutral reverose shift arm it will go into reverse and it has all kinds of power I can pull hills in reverse. When I put the lever forward to drive you can hear it click but it will not go forward I have even adjusted the screw for the clutch adjustment it is a brand new clutch.

It will slip in forward but not always reverse if the wrong oil was used. I had one that would never slip in reverse but always slipped in every gear in forward. What rotella did u use?

do the tires move off the ground? I cannot see one of the sprockets being bad as they are just on splines so you would have no movement in any direction. Only thing i could see is a gear in the trans stripped or broken.. Any shavings in the oil when you changed it?

I'll try setting it up off the ground and see what happens. Also there were no signs of metal in the oil. Also the person I bought it from said they were told the sprocket on the input shaft.

For the life of me i cannot picture how a sprocket would slip going one direction and not the other.. Only thing i could possibly see if the sprocket was at the end of its life on the forward side and the chain is slipping. But that should be quite obvious
