So i was one of the lucky people to buy one of the RedCat VX-80 machines I got it running but have some issue's. One is finding parts for this darn thing. I broke down the model code it's a GY6 engine, 80cc. I'm looking for intake manifold, air box, and throttle cable. any help would be great. If cannot get parts, may slap it back together and repost it for $150 i paid for it.

1. looking on sites i found same carb image as my carb, but they say it's for 2 stroke mine is a 4 stroke???

anyone has one of these machines could I get a picture of your intake manifold and carb to see if mine even has correct one please? Looking around I almost think it does have wrong carb on it, I found picture of a one and carb on look different, has butterfly throttle not slide like what's on mine, ideas help!??

More looking around, the one that looks like in pictures I've found online show it for 50cc and 110cc. I see bore sizes are pretty well same wounded if can just use one of them and then get the mount and throttle cable for that carb?

 

you can use pretty much any carb for a 110.

 

Yea what did was find bore size and draw and calculated out volume, I needed carb that was 19.5mm bore. I found d 20mm bore with accelerator pump. If others are looking i found tons tons parts for the VX-80 by searching GY6 and cc size.

 

It's just hard to k ow what original parts due to cannot find any manuals for it��

Is their a place I can upload my text document with all info for others to use that have this machine and need help?

reading seems it's for emission which i don't have, so do i just cap it off?
