Default Jetmoto

My neighbor just gave me a 250 jettmoto to get running for him. The previous owner replaced the engine with a 110cc jetmoto complete engine. Looks like it has a new coil in it as well as new carb. So far i have repaired a couple of bad wire repairs and looks like ill probably have to change the handlebar control even in the off position i still get spark. The issue is the thing seems to have a very weak spark can barley see it but it is their. Next thing is to pull off the rear plastics and check for bad ground and more hack wiring.. Anything else.. iv got air, fuel and 1/2 a spark..

Well after plenty of head scratching i finally got it to fire... After going through and repairing some more wires and cleaning up the grounding points. Putting the kill switch wire back into the cdi, and replacing battery terminals i was finally happy with the spark. After lots of messing around i finally got it to fire briefly on starting fluid with the fuel shut off. Ended up pulling the carb off and adjusting the float as the machine was flooding out as soon as i turned gas on. Also found that the throttle cable was to tight keeping the throttle slightly open. Finally got it to fire up but would only run with choke on. Found that someone had put the base gasket between the motor and carb tube on backwards creating a nice vacuum leak. so a few more tweeks and it should be good...
