Default Rear Axle Issues?

Hoping I can get some clarification here. I purchased a used Tao Tao 125cc Cheetah. So far no real issues I couldn't fix.

But I did notice, from standing behind atv. Rear wheels/axles are not aligned with front. Seems as though it is further to the right side than it should be?

Wondering if this can be adjusted or if its just a product of chinese manufacturing? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Matt

Default Pictures showing issue

Ive attached a few pictures. If you notice the right rear wheel is sticking out passed the front right. And the left rear isn't sticking out as far as the left front. It actually looks worse in person

Looks pretty close. usually you can adjust side to side with those large nuts on ether side of sprocket and brake. But it looks like their is no adjustment left on the right side. I cant remember if those axles are the same distance from both ends. Possibly someone got it reversed when they put it in?

The pic is a little deceiving. Its about 3-4 inches further on the right side. Ill look into whether or not the axle is the same on both sides. And yeah based on thread lengths id get maybe half an inch over if i adjust. Thanks for the advice.

Picture is deceiving as the right rear tire looks wider than the left one also. Take it from the other angle then the left tire looks larger.

I have a 70cc Buyang. I had the axle apart to change the bearings and inadvertently installed the axle backwards when I put it all back together. On this model anyway the axle length is different from right to left, but everything mounts up fine. It's easy enough to pop apart and swap around. Something to check.

So you slide the axle in from the wrong side of carrier. Or installed 180 degrees backwards.?

they arent all the same but in my case the spines for the brake rotor and sprocket were the same, but the actual side to side axle length from sprocket to wheel and rotor to wheel was different. So, the axle could be installed backwards and the only way this would show is the back won't match the rest of the atv.

Ok. Thats exactly what i was thinking may have happened. Just wasnt sure if it was common for sprockets and brakes to be reversible. Considering im 3 to 4 inches to one side id say that my situation is the same. Thanks a lot for getting back to me

Could also be a wheel installed with offset the wrong way round. The valves on both back wheels should point out, if one points inwards, a tyre has been put on backwards, and the wheel installed the wrong way round so that the tread pattern "looks right".
